Our programs are designed to provide structured, engaging, and inspiring music education experiences for children and teens. Enrollment in any Musician Now program confirms that the parent/guardian has understood and agreed to all studio policies.
Musician Now operates on a tuition-based membership model rather than a pay-per-class system.
We offer:
Full Year and Semester enrollments reserve your child’s placement for the selected term and are non-refundable and non-transferable after enrollment. Students who withdraw before the end of their selected enrollment term will not receive refunds, credits, transfers, or prorated adjustments for unused lessons/classes.
Monthly tuition is a flat monthly rate and remains the same regardless of whether a month contains 3, 4, or 5 lessons/classes. No refunds, credits, discounts, or prorated tuition adjustments will be issued for absences, holidays already built into the calendar, schedule variations, or withdrawals.
Students may enroll at any time during the school year based on availability.
Students enrolling after the beginning of a month will receive a one-time prorated tuition rate for their first month only.
All absences and cancellations must be submitted through the My Music Staff Parent Portal.
Phone calls, text messages, emails, or social media messages are not guaranteed methods of cancellation.
Students who miss lessons/classes may receive a make-up credit in accordance with studio policy.
Make-up credits:
Group program students may request a make-up class in another available class section of the same program, subject to availability.
Private lesson times are scheduled based on teacher and family availability and remain reserved for the semester or school year.
Private lesson tuition includes:
Lessons missed by the student are not refunded or credited. Please refer to the Make-Up Lesson Policy. Lessons canceled by Musician Now due to teacher illness, weather, or emergency closures may be rescheduled or made up at the studio’s discretion.
Group programs including Mini Musicians, Music Explorers, Piano Lab, Guitar Lab, Drum Lab, Violin Lab, and other instrument labs meet on the same day and time each week.
Students absent from group programs may request a make-up class in another available day of the same program.
Tuition is due by the 1st of each month.
Payment options include:
Any unpaid balance remaining after the 5th of the month will receive a $25 late fee.
Families using EFA/ClassWallet funding are responsible for submitting invoices on time. Invoices are issued on the 25th of each month and should be submitted by the 1st. If payment is not reflected in the studio system by the 5th, the payment method on file may be charged. All EFA families must maintain a valid payment method on file as back up.
Families paying through cash, check, ACH, or card may receive:
Family discounts apply to eligible private lessons, group programs, and camps.
Family discounts are not available for EFA/ClassWallet-funded students.
We understand there is a time to stop lessons/classes.
Monthly students in our Group Programs or Private Lessons must submit withdrawal requests before the 1st of the upcoming billing month.
If payment has already been processed after the 1st, no refunds or credits will be issued.
No refunds or credits are given for students who have paid the full year or semester and decide to leave earlier then the expected end date of the lessons/classes.
Musician Now may close due to unsafe weather or emergency conditions.
As a general guideline, the studio may close when schools in the Laconia, Belmont, or Gilford areas are closed.
Families will be notified through:
Our goal is to make closure decisions by 10:00 AM whenever possible.
Students who are sick should remain home from lessons/classes.
Private lesson students may request a virtual lesson when available.
Students who arrive visibly ill, excessively fatigued, feverish, or unable to participate appropriately may be sent home.

Musician Now reserves the right to dismiss students for repeated disruptive behavior, unsafe conduct, refusal to cooperate, or destruction of property.
Parents/guardians remain responsible for supervising children outside of scheduled lesson/class times unless otherwise approved by Musician Now staff.
Each May, currently enrolled families will receive a Priority Re-Enrollment email to reserve placements for the upcoming school year before registration opens to the public.
Families who do not respond by the stated June deadline may forfeit their current lesson/class placement.
Musician Now may photograph or video record lessons, classes, recitals, camps, and studio activities for promotional and educational purposes with the permission of families during enrollment. We do not reveal students names unless with permission from the family.
