No experience required
The Musician Now Homeschool Concert Band is designed to give students the opportunity to experience the excitement, friendship, and accomplishment of performing in a concert band in a supportive, homeschool-friendly environment.
Students will learn fundamental techniques, develop strong musicianship skills, practice regularly at home, and perform as part of a full ensemble throughout the school year.
Whether your child dreams of playing in an orchestra, participating in community performances, or simply discovering the joy of music, this program provides a structured path for growth.
Additional instruments may be added as the program grows.
Here is the information about being a part of the Band. If you have any questions please email us at office@musiciannow.com
Section rehearsals are held during the week and focus on instrument-specific instruction and skill development.
Full ensemble rehearsals are held regularly throughout the academic year so students can develop confidence and experience performing together as a band.
The Section Instrument Days are 45 minutes. This means students with the same instruments will come together and learn together with the instructor.
If these days and times do not work for your schedule, please visit the Private Lesson page. There are limited availabilities for private lessons.
Annual tuition: $675

The Homeschool Concert Band is designed to provide students with a meaningful and rewarding musical experience. Every member of the ensemble plays an important role in the success of the group, and we ask both students and parents to make a commitment to the program for the entire academic year.

Expectations for Parents
Parents play an essential role in helping students develop strong practice habits and achieve success. Parents are expected to:
The Homeschool Concert Band is not designed as a drop-in activity. Enrollment represents a commitment to the entire academic year and to every member of the ensemble.
Every student plays an important role in the success of the group. Because each musician contributes to the ensemble as a whole, regular attendance, consistent practice, and participation in rehearsals and performances are essential.
Tuition is based upon enrollment in the program rather than attendance.
Refunds, credits, or reductions in tuition cannot be provided for missed rehearsals, performances, or other scheduled activities. While we understand that illnesses, family emergencies, and unexpected situations may occur, we ask families to recognize that consistent participation is essential to the success of every member of the ensemble. We may provide make up lessons if needed upon the availability of our music instructor.
All students are expected to participate in both the fall and spring semesters. Families should carefully consider other activities and scheduling commitments before enrolling. A calendar will be given to the parents before classes start.
Families are responsible for providing the following:
Method books and sheet music will be provided on the first day of lessons. If the books or sheet music are missing or damaged, parents will have to pay for materials.
Private lessons are encouraged but are not required for participation in the Homeschool Concert Band. Students seeking additional instruction may enroll in private lessons to strengthen their technique, improve performance skills, and receive individualized support.
