Private Lessons

Private lessons are designed for students who are ready to take greater ownership of their musical growth.

Because meaningful progress happens both during and between lessons, regular practice at home is an expected part of private lesson enrollment. Students should come to lessons prepared to learn, work toward goals with their instructor, and practice consistently throughout the week.

Our instructors provide individualized guidance while helping students develop the discipline, practice habits, and musical skills needed to continue progressing on their instrument.

Throughout the school year, students build their repertoire and musicianship while preparing to showcase their growth at two annual recitals.

Private lessons may be the right fit if your child:

• Is ready to focus primarily on one instrument
• Can commit to attending lessons consistently
• Is willing to practice regularly between lessons
• Enjoys working toward goals and building skills over time
• Is ready for a more focused and structured approach to music education

Not ready for that level of commitment yet? That’s completely okay!

Students do not need to rush into private lessons to receive a meaningful music education.

Musician Now offers group classes and programs where students can explore instruments, develop foundational musical skills, and learn what it means to participate in a consistent music program—all in a supportive environment with less pressure.

These programs can be an excellent introduction to music and help students gradually develop the confidence, independence, and commitment needed to transition into private lessons when they are ready.

Every musician develops differently.

In private lessons, instructors meet students at their current level while creating an individualized path for continued growth. Lessons may include:

• Instrument technique and healthy playing habits
• Note reading and music literacy
• Rhythm, theory, and musicianship
• Repertoire and song development
• Ear training and listening skills
• Practice strategies and goal setting
• Performance preparation and confidence

While instruction is personalized to each student, private lessons are designed around progress, consistency, and commitment.

Instrument availability may vary based on instructor schedules, student age, and experience level.

30 Minutes Lessons (For Ages 5-12):  $35 a Lesson

• $140 for 4 week classes
• $175 for 5 week classes
• For months that are less than 4, pricing will adjust. Read more below.

45 Minute Lessons (For Ages 12+): $50 a Lesson

• $200 for 4 week classes
• $250 for 5 week classes
• For months that are less than 4, pricing will adjust. Read more below.

60 Minutes Lessons (Great for students who are looking for more instruction, technique, and focus): $65 a Lesson

• $260 for 4 week classes
• $325 for 5 week classes
