About Musician Now:
At Musician Now, we are dedicated to providing high-quality music education in the beautiful Lakes Region. Our mission is to inspire and nurture the musical talents of students aged 5 and up in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. We are looking for passionate music teachers to fill two key positions: Piano Lab Teacher and Mini Musician Teacher starting in January 2025. If you share our vision and have a desire to make a difference in students’ lives, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners.
• Teach individual and group classes, ensuring a positive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Organize and participate in student recitals and events to showcase students’ achievements.
• Follow our already developed Mini Musicians curriculum, which provides a structured framework for teaching young students.
Skills and Experience Required:
• Minimum of 1 year of classroom or teaching experience.
• Experience working with children aged 5 and up, particularly in a music education setting.
• Proficiency in piano or relevant specialty instruments for the Piano Lab position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with students and families.
Qualities Needed in a Music Teacher:
• Passionate about music and teaching.
• Patient and encouraging, with a focus on individual student growth.
• Creative and adaptable, able to modify teaching methods to meet student needs.
• Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans and student assessments.
Schedule and Compensation:
• We are looking for someone to work during our business hours, which are Monday through Thursday, from 12 PM to 6 PM.
• Compensation starts at $20 per hour, with the potential for higher pay based on experience.
• We offer paid school vacation days to ensure our teachers can recharge and enjoy their time off.
